Accused of selling puppies with Parvo
On Wednesday the owner of the Pet House, a pet store in Irondequiot, NY was arrested for allegedly selling puppies infected with Parvo, a life-threatening virus. Douglas Rosenbaum was booked and released, and is scheduled to appear in court on March 18th.

The store was open for business today despite the ensuing case. In addition to the recent accusations and arrest, the store failed multiple inspections in December and January, and was fined $500. The store passed its most recent inspection in February, but after receiving multiple complaints from store customers including: selling sick animals, unsanitary conditions and mistreatment of animals, Rosenbaum was finally arrested and booked.
If found guilty, the store owner could face up to one year in jail or fines up to one thousand dollars.
