Rainbow Bridge - The Rest of the Story

We've all heard the story of the Rainbow Bridge - the place where our beloved, departed pets await the arrival of their special person to cross over the bridge together. This story was sent to Alley Cat Guardians by a feral cat caretaker who we helped. During this busy kitten season, when things can seem overwhelming, it is a good reminder of why we work so hard for the animals.

I want to personally extend a special thank you to our very first facility supporters.

Help Fix Felix! We're up to $5000 for the ACG Spay/Neuter Facility!

A new cat is frequenting your yard, perhaps left behind by indifferent neighbors or maybe the offspring of another feral cat.

Trying to Herd a Cat Stat

Can a single female cat and her offspring really produce 420,000 cats over just seven years?

Looking for a Few Good Volunteers!

Alley Cat Guardians has several interesting programs that are in critical need of additional volunteers.

Register Your Feral Colony

In accordance with the Pet Overpopulation Ordinance, Stanislaus County Animal Services requests feral and barn cat caretakers to register their colonies with Animal Services. There is no charge for registration. Reasonable efforts must be made to alter and vaccinate all cats. Registration forms can be obtained from Animal Services.
