UPDATE! After 12 days, Parsley has been found ALIVE and WELL!
By Kelli Banet, Best Friends Network VolunteerOn Thursday, July 31st, Parsley the cat waited quietly in the car while his caretaker, Tom, quickly dropped off a pair of skates to be sharpened. When his caretaker came out of Wonderland of Ice minutes later, both the car and Parsley were gone.
Parsley's owner Victor Messick, who was away at the time, is frantic with worry. Since Friday, Messick, who lives in Westchester, has been driving around Bridgeport and the surrounding areas looking for Parsley.
Parsley is a grey tabby, with a white belly, chin, and neck, and four white paws. He is about 10 years old, and friendly. He can be easily enticed with food. The stolen vehicle is a 1994 Jeep Wrangler, green with a soft top, and has Connecticut plates 414HNZ. So far, the vehicle has not been seen.
Let's hope the thieves set poor Parsley free, and help to find him and bring him home. There is a reward for his return, no questions asked.
