Three dogs went to forever homes, and more potential adoptees look promising.
Cheryl shares the news!
You see pictures of a young lady with our Schnoodle - that is Fallon and her new adopted dog YoYo. The lady in the pics with them is Claudia; she is YoYo's foster mom and rescuer. Fallon received $100 for back to school money and all she wanted was a cuddle baby. Yo Yo was the perfect fit for her! Claudia was so great to allow us to lower the adoption fee so that Fallon could get Yo Yo, and a crate and food for her new best friend!
The picture of the young boys and their dad is the adoption of our little lab pup Bella! Mindi was the rescuer and Betty was the foster mom. This is a great family for Miss Bella! They have always had labs and theirs recently passed away at age 13! Bella and the boys are very happy with each other!
The young man with Daisy, our chocolate lab/dobie mix, is Sam. He loves his new best friend; every boy needs a dog! Sam took home a bag of training treats! He is going to be working with Daisy and teach her all kinds of new tricks. She already learned to sit just that day! Daisy gets to sleep with Sam in his bed each night. This is just the best news ever for Daisy! Remember she was hit by a car and almost lost her life! Her hip was badly broken. But she made it through the surgery and now has a plate in her hip that doesn't bother her a bit. Now she has a boy to love forever!
The Schnauzer is Dr. Watson! Isn't he cute? Foster mom, Sabrina has a pending adoption on him already! Dr. Watson was abandoned at the Banfield Vet Hospital at the Southside Petsmart! How could anyone walk away from this cute face? I just know he will have a home before the week is out!
Betty had brought several dogs for adoption, but needed to take only one back to the foster farm and that was Brinda! However, Kenny got some cute face pictures of Brinda to add to our webpage. Each time she comes to an adoption event she gets a little closer to getting that forever home! Hopefully it will be soon..she sure deserves it!
Thanks to all our helpers. What a great day! Kenny, you are doing a great job as our group photographer!!How You Can Help:
