Maybe it was the close of summer or the opening day of OU football, but something was in the air!
Cheryl announces 13 great adoptions in a single day, and shares a few of the stories.
Pictured at the top is the Lanory family, and their two newest additions, little Beenie and little Juno, a cute brother and sister terrier set that Crystal rescued. How happy we are that they were adopted by a pair of Sooners!
Next is our beloved Bobbi, a boxer-lab mix that was returned for being too big and playful! She is now with the wonderful Hayes family and her new little brother Semi the Mastiff!
Then we have Betty's little foster dog Libby, the wire haired baby rescued from the El Reno shelter, along with Bailey a Chiweenie that Crystal rescued. They were both adopted by the Sisemore family of El Reno.
How about the little Polydactyl Maine Coon kitten that arrived safely via transport, from Altus yesterday? Thank you Larry and Jean of SWOAN for the transport assistance. Here she is in the arms of her new family, Shai and Carmen!
Finally, we have a nice picture of Sweetie, a Brindle Staffordshire Terrier rescued from Bristow Animal Control. She was adopted last, but not least, to Gail Smith and her son!

Cheryl shares news of one more dog:
Here is Auggie, not sure what he is, but he is sweet! Claudia rescued him from Lake Overholser. He is still looking for his forever home!
