Sallisaw Couple Works To Shelter Stray Cats

September 4, 2008 : 5:36 PM
Walk and Kathy are working toward raising enough money to build a cat house for the shelter, that will be run by Forever Friends Humane Society.

The Sunburys said their goal is to raise $3,000.

The storie continues here.

How You Can Help

A flea market to raise funds will be held Sept. 25 and 26 at the Sallisaw Civic Center. Those who would like to donate items for the flea market may call (479) 689-4254 or (918) 571-3929.

A fund has been set up called Forever Friends City Shelter Cat Fund at Arvest Bank for those to make cash donations. Since the group is non-profit, those donating will receive a receipt for tax deductions.

Forever Friends Humane Society is a 501 c 3 charitable organization, and all donations gratefully acknowledged and appreciated.
