Goliath has a potential adopter! She brought her rott girl over to meet him today and they got along wonderfully.

Ellie is still available for adoption. She is still being treated. McKenzie is available as well. They are all such great dogs grateful for any kindness.

Thank you all for caring. I will continue to update and please contact me directly if you would like to as well:

Susan, thank you so much for this KAT5 rescue effort. To see such resources mobilized on behalf of one animal is truly inspiring. Are there four other rotties now involved? Ellie, Roxie, the rott who went to rescue, and not-Theo? Could someone post an update on these dogs? Again, thank you so much for not discarding them because they aren't Theodore. Clearly, they need help (especially Ellie!), and I'm thrilled they're getting it. Hurray!

Don just saw the other rot that a kid said other kids were abusing (we think it is the same one that Bob tracked all night last weeK). Don is trapping that one now.

There are other sightings that we think are not Theo but we were told that the one is being abused so we are heading there later to make sure that rot is ok and get help for it.

Many calls today and many rotties but no Theo yet. We have a new rottie girl stray with no collar. She is a great dog. She is now named Roxie. She needs a home or rescue.

Kid says other kids were throwing rocks and sticks at the rot in that area.

Thank you for giving us hope. I am glad that Rocky was found. It sounds like we need to concentrate fliers in the park.

Pet detective Jim Berns is in Chicago searching for Theo with his search dog Samantha right now!

In our search for Theo we have found 3 other rotties in Chicago loose. One went to rescue today, one (now named Ellie), is at the Vet because her poor head was bashed in and the third was seen last night and Bob tried to catch him all night. (We are trying to catch him and he is not Theo). Ellie is going to be OK. She is getting fully vetted and treated. She is a very sweet girl with no aggression at all. If you know anyone who would like to adopt or any rescues in the area please contact KAT 5. kat5animalrescue@yahoo.com

If you would like to donate towards the search for Theo and/or Ellie's medical treatment please go to kat5.org for more information.

My mom use to live in the Marquette Park neighborhood, before she moved to Florida. Her dog Rocky ran away for 4 weeks...then one day he showed up sitting out of the blue.

Also, my mom is an avid walker and she use to walk Marquette Park (the actually park, which is huge)...and there are packs of strays that roam that park...she'd always walk with a stick cause the strays would try to gang up on Rocky.

I hope and pray Theodore is found. I know the stress and anxiety his people must be going through.
