Show support for a Las Vegas triathlon team – and help animals, too!

World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). WSPA seeks to improve on regions of the world where little, if any, measures exist to protect animals.
The “Nix Tri Chix” triathlon team is asking for all supporters to donate up to $20/person to the WSPA by August 20, 2008.About WSPAWSPA addresses several issues that affect animals on a global scale, including ethical treatment of companion animals, wildlife, marine life, and farm animals. The primary focus of WSPA’s work takes place in countries where the need for animal welfare education, resources, and funding is greatest.
With charitable donations, WSPA provides animal lovers myriad opportunities to provide support outside of their own communities. Many countries lack legal protection and quality law enforcement for the safety of animals. Therefore, donor support is very important for WSPA to carry out their animal welfare programs effectively and efficiently.
“Tri” It“Nix Tri Chix” consists of eight Las Vegas triathlon hopefuls of beginner and intermediate levels. The team welcomes men and women of all ages and athletic abilities to join their 12-week training program. Their next race, the
Lake Las Vegas Olympic Distance Triathlon is scheduled for August 30th at Lake Las Vegas. This is “Nix Tri Chix” first official race as a team.

“I believe in all of my athletes 110% and will give the best of me to help them attain their goals,” promises Jolie.
While Jolie is always sure to keep her triathletes motivated, her request for donations to WSPA will hopefully motivate everyone to open their hearts – and wallets!
