Watch as 179 dogs, from seniors to newborn pups, start their new lives with Best Friends

It was nearly two in the morning when the Best Friends trucks pulled in to the Pets Alive shelter in New York after a long drive from Virginia. Despite the hour, a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers showed up to greet the dogs rescued from the puppy mill, and to help them get settled into their new digs.

Way to Go!!! Best Friends and PetsAlive. If only one at a time, it's a start to shuting all the mills down and save these animals from lives of despair. You could see the change in the dogs thoughout this video and I'm most sure with the care they receive at PetsAlive their lives will undoubtably be changed forever. Thanks for being there for them!!!!

If this video doesn't bring tears to your eyes, you have no heart - what a heart-breaker; to see the exhausted, scared and force-bred doggy-moms being cleaned off, tucked into nice/clean big cages, reunited with recently- or newly-born puppies, with proper care and feeding, is going to bring a fountain of tears, believe me. But to imagine what these little gals have been through - and to know they are "free at last" from the tortures of puppy-mill cruelty, is a total gusher. I'm SO PROUD of BF and the PetsAlive- and other/local volunteers - this is what it's all about. Prayers for one & all - blessings without end.
