Highly anticipated Fall Webinar schedule begins with Rev Dr Mitzi Lynton & Best Friends Animals & Religion Manager, Kris Haley.

by Kris Haley, Best Friends Manager of Multifaith Outreach

Summer is over and with it, many vacations have concluded. But the great news is that with the onset of fall, we are resuming our full schedule of exciting Webinar and AccuConference offerings!!

Our VERY exciting, and highly acclaimed, fall and winter season of Webinars and Accu-conferences are designed to bring you the most up to date information in the world of animals and faith!

This week's Webinar information is as follows:

[c]Thursday, September 4th (and every first Thursday of the month) at 4pm pacific, 5pm mountain, 6pm central and 7pm eastern, join Rev. Dr. Mitzi Lynton and Best Friends Animals & Religion Manager, Kris Haley, for a monthly, interactive, one-hour Webinar entitled: Animal Grief Support Circle[/c]

We are very pleased to offer this first-of-its-kind webinar series which has received rave reviews from previous attendees. Learn about the steps of grief and how we experience them personally. Learn more about how children and animals experience grief and what we can do to support them. Learn about how many people grieve for animals they’ve never met; those who are exploited, abused and neglected…and how to walk through that experience. And, if you wish, share your personal experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Your facilitators have significant experience in this field. Rev. Dr. Mitzi Lynton is a certified Bereavement Counselor and Kris Haley was a pet grief support service volunteer counselor for six years with the Companion Animal Association or Arizona. Collectively, they bring the benefit of over ten years of grief experience to you via this extraordinary Webinar series.

Won’t you join us? Please RSVP your attendance to piper@bestfriends.org asap, and she will email you dial and log in information for the Webinar. If you would like to include a photo of a specific animal, please email it to Piper with your RSVP so that we can include him or her in the Webinar.

Once you RSVP, please be sure to check your email for the info and if you do not receive it, please let Piper know prior to our Webinar date. Hope to ‘see’ you there!
