Eating Organic For the Animals

June 19, 2008 : 2:32 PM
Tuesday, June 24 Whole Foods in Austin is donating 5% to local animal welfare organizations.

Be sure to do your weekly grocery shopping this upcoming Tuesday, June 24. Whole Foods’ Community Giving Day is offering 5% of their net sales from that Tuesday to benefit three local animal welfare organizations;

Animal Trustees of Austin
Austin Humane Society
EmanciPET

This offer is good at both Austin locations, all day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and is not limited to the grocery section. Have dinner there, purchase health supplements, or buy some wine or flowers for your sweetie. You can even purchase cat or dog food and treats – can you say bulk catnip?

and

Whole Foods Market

While shopping that evening, be sure to come to the Lamar store for information from the Austin Mission Orange organizations.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• Help help fund animal welfare in Austin by shopping at Whole foods on Tuesday, June 24.
• If you are unable to participate, please support the lifesaving efforts of Animal Trustees of Austin, Austin Humane Society, and EmanciPET through volunteering or donating.
